JAMMU, Apr 5: Congress today announced prominent party leader Rigzin Spalbar as its candidate for Ladakh Parliamentary seat.
BJP has already fielded Jamyang Tsering Namgayal, the Chairman of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh for Ladakh seat.
The National Conference and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are yet to nominate their candidates for Ladakh, which will go to polls in fifth phase on May 6. Nominations for Ladakh seat will open on April 12 while April 18 is last date for filing of the papers.
