JAMMU, Apr 6: Nagrota police under ‘Operation Sanjeeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 30 grams heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nagrota Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania laid a naka and intercepted two pedestrians, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 30 grams heroin from their possession and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Shaheen, son of Mohammad Rafiq of District Anantnag and Sharief Mohammad, son of Jamal Din of District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 116/19 under Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
