SAMBA, Apr 6: Candidate of Jammu Poonch parliamentary constituency and general secretary of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackray Manish Sahni flagged off the Chhari Yatra on the occasion of first Navratra, here today.
Sahni was also joined by State party president Dimpy Kohli and Meenakshi (candidate of Kathua-Doda constituency). The Chhari is taken out every year by Party’s Samba president Ramesh Gupta. Hundreds of people took part in the Chari Yatra, which passed through the main bazaar of Samba before culminated at Cheechi Mata Temple.
The Chhari also passed through the Vijaypur and Bari Brahmna. Addressing the enthusiastic Shiv Sainiks, Sahni saluted to the heroic land of martyrs. Speaking at different places, he reiterated the Rohingya issue. Sahni also stressed the need of equal distribution of funds and equal distribution of jobs in all fields.
