JAMMU, Apr 9: Varun Magotra, senior Congress leader today organized an election rally at Vikram Chowk, Jammu, in favour of Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha candidate Raman Bhalla and appealed people to vote for him.
While addressing the congress workers, Magotra said, “BJP candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma has totally neglected the Jammu-Poonch constituency by not taking up the developmental works of the constituency, rather he has completely neglected the constituency.
Magotra further added that Raman Bhalla is a strong candidate and as an MLA, he has already proved himself by working for the people in Gandhi Nagar area. He made an appeal to masses of India and particularly to the people of J&K state to vote for congress candidates to strengthen the hands of the party chief Rahul Gandhi.
Others who attended the function were Raj Kumar Mehra (district president, Jammu OBC Dept), Lalita Sharma (Ex Corporator), Vijay Manhas, Titu Sahni and Iqbal Singh.
