JAMMU, Apr 12: Rattan Dogra today took over the charge of Chairman of Federation of Industries and Ajay Langer as general secretary of FoIJ.
Rattan Dogra took over the charge from Lalit Mahajan, president of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) and Ajay Langer from Pardeep Vaid, general secretary of Association of Industries, Gangyal, Jammu, under the constitutional provisions of Federation of Industries, Jammu.
Rattan Dogra, the new Chairman FoIJ, in his address to the gathering at a function in this connection at the premises of Association of Industries, Gangyal, assured that with the support of constituents of Federation of Industries, the relevant issues pertaining to the industrial sector especially the local entrepreneurs of Micro and Small enterprises of Jammu province will be taken up with the functionaries of State Government Departments to resolve their problems being faced by the most of the local industry of Jammu region on priority basis.
Rattan Dogra further said that his aim and objective is to focus on bringing new investments and infrastructure on industry in the region and making all efforts for growth and sustainability of the existing local industry.
Rattan Dogra highlighted to the FoIJ members about the present problems faced by the local industrial unit holders of Birpur, Bari Brahmana, Digiana and Gangyal and stressed for developmental scenario of local industry like GST refund, industrial policy, Goods and Services Tax, ownership rights, local employments, improving power infrastructure, State as well as Central package of incentives to industry and time bound clearance of files etc.
On the occasion, Lalit Mahajan, president of Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Jatinder Aul, president of Digiana Small Scale Industries Association, Deepak Dhawan, president of Birpur Industrial Association, Vijay Aggarwal, president, AOI Samba and Ajit Bawa, president, Kathua Industrial Units Association were elected as Co-chairman of FoI Jammu while Pardeep Vaid, general secretary of Association of Industries, Gangyal, Jammu was elected as convener of FoI Jammu.
Among those prominent members of FoIJ, who attended the gathering of change of guard of Federation of Industries Jammu, include Bansi Lal Gupta, Ashok Jain, Sandeep Ohri, Sdr Lavinder Singh Puri, Suresh Mahajan, Viraaj Malhotra, Gagan Jain, Sharad Malhotra, Ankur Jain, Sanjay Chopra alongwith senior industrialists.
