JAMMU, Apr 16: A man died today due to consumption of some poisonous substance, at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, Somnath (35) son of Om Parkash, resident of Ward No 8, RS Pura, was shifted to GMCH Jammu yesterday after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He said the man passed away today at about 3:10 PM, here in the hospital.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,” the official added.
