JAMMU, Feb 20: Minister for Social Welfare Sakina Itoo today called on Governor N N Vohra and discussed several issues concerning the welfare of all those falling within the less-privileged sections of the society.
“Itoo called on Governor at Raj Bhavan here and during their meeting, they discussed several important matters concerning the welfare of all those falling within the less-privileged sections of the society,” an official spokesman said.
They also discussed the implementation of various schemes and programmes enabling the welfare of differently abled persons, he said.
Itoo, meanwhile, briefed the Governor about the implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes in the state, the spokesman added. (AGENCIES)
