Narayana Superspeciality Hospital celebrates 3rd anniversary

JAMMU, Apr 19: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital celebrated its 3rd anniversary today.
To mark the occasion, the Shrine Board offered free and concessional treatments to deserving patients from economically backward sections costing around Rs 2.5 Crores. Recently, the hospital provided such treatment to congenital deaf children undergone cochlear implant surgery.

Speaking on the occasion, the CAO of SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Dr (Brig) Man Mohan Harjai said, “It is a moment of pride for the hospital, as in just three years, the hospital has received a recognition as one of the best tertiary care hospitals not just in J&K but the entire north region. The hospital offers services to all sections of society and has always been on patient-centred care. Meanwhile, a function was held at Maitrika Auditorium to mark the Hospital’s 3rd anniversary and Governor and Chairman Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Satya Pal Malik was the chief guest. The function was also attended by Dr Devi Shetty, Chairman and Founder of Narayana Health, Members of the Shrine Board, Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Professor SK Jain, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU and Simarndeep Singh, CEO Shrine Board along with a host of senior management officials, doctors and staff of SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital.
On the occasion, three renowned doctors, namely Tsering Landol from Leh, Dr C D Gupta from Jammu and Dr GQ Allaqaband from Srinagar, representing all the three regions of the State were felicitated for incredible contribution made by them in their respective field of medicine.
