JAMMU, Apr 20: A religious function (Chardikala Diwas) was organised by the Sikh community members at Gurdwara Digiana Ashram.
The function was held under the chairmanship of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch. Several preachers and religious personalities attended the programme.
Former minister and senior Congress leader, Raman Bhalla who was special invitee on the occasion appreciated the role of Dera Nangali sahib for the betterment in the religious and education field besides promoting love and brotherhood in the society.
DGPC, Poonch president Narinder Singh and several other Sikh leaders including Dr Jaswant Singh, , Lakhvir Singh Bawa, Prof Hardev Singh and Hardit Singh also spoke on the occasion and lauded the role of Dera and Mahant Manjit Singh.
