APMCC optimistic about Govt’s commitment

JAMMU, Feb 20: All Parties Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) chairman ,(APMCC) Vinod Pandita today reiterated to continue struggle for the genuine demands of Kashmiri Pandits and take it to its logical conclusion.
Mr Pandita, who reached here today after observing 15 days fast at Porbandar Gujarat in support of six point charter of demands of KPs while addressing a Kashmiri Pandit gathering said that on a written appeal of State Government he broke his fast. The Government assured that all demands projected by APMCC will be looked into.
He said that in case Government failed to fulfill its commitment this time again the APMCC will launch the next phase of agitation. He said the support given to him by people of Gujarat and other parts of the country was overwhelming and this has proved that Kashmiri Pandits were not alone in their fight.
Addressing the gathering King C Bharti spokesperson APMCC said that Hindus all over country are eager to see that problems of displaced Pandits are settled once for all and they are given their due share in the State.
He said full support was extended by people in Gujarat and other parts of the country to six point charter of demands of APMCC and support witnessed during 15 days of fast from all parts of India was unprecedented.
Pandita along with his other team members who took part in the Porbandar fast included King C Bharti, Sandeep Bhat and Sunil Kumar Trakroo were received here by activists of various KP organisations.
Earlier leaders of various KP organizations led by H L Chatta president ASKPC, Sudir Dhar of APMCC, Sanjay Koul of APMCC, Kamal Peshin, Usha Nakashi, Veena Gurtoo of Women Wing Umesh Ji and Ram Krishan Bhat from Jagti township and several others received Pandita and his team.
