LEH, Apr 23: General Officer Commanding (GOC)-in-Chief Northern Command, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh today reviewed security situation and operation preparedness in Eastern Ladakh, a Defence Ministry spokesman said.
He said Lt Gen Singh visited forward areas to review the security situation and operational preparedness in Eastern Ladakh today.
The Army Commander was accompanied by the Fire and Fury Corps Commander.
The Army Commander was briefed in detail by the General Officer Commanding Trishul Division about the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in Eastern Ladakh.
During his interaction with the troops, the Army Commander appreciated their hard-work and dedication in their brave endeavour to safeguard the nation’s borders while operating in hostile terrain and adverse weather conditions.
