School Education Non-Teaching employees highlight demands before Advisor

JAMMU, Apr 25: A deputation of All J&K School Education Employees Non-Teaching Forum, led by its president Ansuyia Gupta and State president of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Clerical Staff Association, Babu Hussain Malik, called on Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, Advisor to the Governor regarding the long pending demands of the Non- Teaching employees of School Education Department.
In the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held in between the members of the delegation and the Advisor. The Advisor listened to the grievances very patiently and assured that the genuine problems highlighted in the meeting would be sorted out soon.
The main demands, put forward by the delegation included ; promotion/placement of Senior Assistant to Head Assistant, Junior Assistant to Senior Assistant and Class-IV to Junior Assistant, one time regularization of all non-teaching officials working in OPG patterns, creation of Ministerial Cadre posts in 44 Non-NES Zones, new created offices of Joint Directors and Chief Education Officers, creation of a separate cell in the Direction Office for conducting DPC after every six months, regularization of Class-IV placed as Junior Assistant in OPG since last more than four years, creation of posts of Non Teaching officials (Ministerial Cadre) under RMSA scheme, implementation of Transfer policy as per CSR in letter and words, detachment of all Principals/ Lecturers/ Masters/ Teachers/ Lab Assistants attached in Director’s Office since decades against the post of Ministerial Cadre thereby hampering the smooth working of the Department.
Others, who were present in the meeting, included Mohd Sultan, Kulwant Singh Sambyal, Farhat Ahmad and Prem Lata.
