CUJ organizes Alumni Meet

JAMMU, Apr 26: Central University of Jammu (CUJ) today organized its 2nd Alumni Meet at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium of University of Jammu (JU).
Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor, JU was the chief guest while Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor CUJ, Prof Indu Aima, Registrar CUJ, Dr Ravi Kumar, Prof Deveanand other senior professors, faculty members and around 300 alumni were also present on the occasion.
In his address the chief guest extended best wishes to the alumni.
In his presidential address Vice Chancellor CUJ highlighted various developments works taken up by CUJ at Rahya Campus.
He stated that university has progressed in many ways and now has 52 academic departments.
“In last four years the University has got Rs 147 crore other than UGC grants. CUJ has also got the prestigious projects in the past few years which include Space Centre and a DRDO project among others,” he maintained.
On this occasion elections for CUJ Alumni Association was convened by Dr. Vandana Sharma and her team.
A cultural programme was also organized.
