Dir Health inaugurates Ultrasound, X-Ray unit at GNM Hospital

JAMMU, Apr 28: Director Health Jammu, Dr Sameer Mattoo today inaugurated modern Ultrasound and X-Ray machines installed at Guru Nanak Mission (GNM) Hospital, Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
The occasion was attended by prominent citizens of Jammu. While speaking on the occasion, Dr Sameer Mattoo said that the Hospital in association with Khalsa Aid International is doing good to provide better and affordable medical care facilities to the needy sections of the society. He expressed his whole hearted support to management and staff for the pious cause.
Dr Surinder Singh, in his welcome address, threw light on the services rendered by the hospital in different fields which resulted in significant improvement in the patient flow in recent times and the aims and objectives of the management.
Amarpreet Singh, Director, Asian Pacific, Khalsa Aid India, also spoke on the occasion and pledged his support to the management of the Hospital on behalf of the Khalsa Aid International, in achieving its objectives. He informed that one of their representatives, Gagandeep Singh, is permanently stationed at the hospital to assist the management.
TS Wazir, Chairman, Management Committee, GNM Hospital, while speaking on the occasion, stated that the success achieved by the Hospital in providing medical care to the needy sections of the society is the result of consistent efforts of the management committee members along with experienced, dedicated and hardworking staff and support of general masses.
He expressed his resolve to make it a premier medical institution in the State which would serve poor and neglected section of the society irrespective of cast, colour or creed, as per the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
