JAMMU, Apr 30: Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhyla Yatra Managing Sub Committee Jammu held a meeting in connection with the performance of Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhaya Yatra, which will commence on July 3 from Dharalan Nagri Kathua and will culminate on July 10 in Village Anant Nallah of Tehsil Dachhan, District Kishtwar.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Raghu Nath Thakur, President, Sub Committee Jammu. After holding discussions, the members appealed to District Administration of Kishtwar and Government to provide adequate facilities to the pilgrims so that they may not face any inconvenience while performing pilgrimage.
While speaking, Thakur demanded ex-gratia relief for the reconstruction, repair and renovation of sarais and purchase of blankets, tents, timber, GI sheets etc, tendering process and fulfilling all other formalities for providing helicopter service to the pilgrims from Kishtwar to the shrines of Hudh Mata/Trisandhyia Mata, immediate repair of bridal road from Dangdhoru to Bhawan in Anant Nallah, repair of motorable road from Patim Halla to Dangdhoru (Hanzradi), speed up construction work of Dangdhoru to Dachhan motorable road, improvement in the mobile network service.
“During this Yatra, the pilgrims perform the Darshan of Trisandhaya Mata which some times flows naturally three times in a day—morning, noon and evening in the form of water from the peak of a mountain near Brahma Parvat, considered to be the abode of Lord Brahma and the creator of the Universe and stops naturally. There is no lake or any pond on the mountain from which the water could overflow. Moreover, the water starts receding from the bottom towards higher upper side. The water comes from upper side but does not reach the bottom of the stream. The whole water is absorbed in the stream. After flowing for couple of hours, not a single drop of water is seen there. To have a bath in this pious water is considered auspicious and lucky”, he said and appealed to the authorities to redress the issues before the commencement of the pilgrimage.
