UDHAMPUR, Apr 30: Under mysterious circumstances, a Dhaba owner was found hanging along wall of the top floor of his rented business establishment at Domail TCP, here this morning, even as Police claimed that it was a case of suicide.
According to the police report, Nek Ram (52), son of Bhagat Ram of Surni Ramnagar, presently putting up at TCP Domil Udhampur, was hanging from an iron angle along outer wall of the top floor of the building where he was running a Dhaba.
Some locals saw him hanged and immediately called the Police, which rushed to the spot and shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The incident took place this morning around 7.45 a.m and Police said that it was an apparent case of suicide even as a case has been registered in this connection for inquest proceedings under Section 174 of CrpC.
