SAMBA, April 30: District Police Samba distributed stationery items/ school bags/uniform shoes to the school children of Government High School Papar Brahmana in the jurisdiction of the Police Station Samba.
The items were distributed among the students by Dr. Koshal Sharma SSP Samba in presence of school Headmaster, staff members, Sarpanches/Panches and locals of the village.
On the occasion, SSP Samba advised the students to excel in their studies and extra co-curricular activities besides keeping away from bad company. SSP Samba further added that J&K Police has been organizing various sports tournaments/Bharat Darshan tour/ debate competitions/ seminars and other cultural activities from time to time in an effort to nourish the young talent and harmonious personality development of the children. The refreshment packages were also distributed among the school children.
The Headmaster and locals of the area complimented the district Police Samba for its such a noble act to serve the needy students of the school. On the occasion, Deepak Digra DySP, Headquarters Samba, Inspector. Shiv Dev Singh, SHO Samba and SI Rajveer Singh I/C PP Samba were also present.
