Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Apr 30: IRP 14th Battalion today organized a retirement party to bid adieu to Commandant Manohar Singh (SSP) on his superannuation at Battalion Headquarter, Channi Himmat, Jammu. All Ranks of IRP 14th Battalion, other units as well as several distinguished guests were present in the party.
While speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commandant Sukhdev Raj (SSP) highlighted the exemplary services of Manohar Singh, which he rendered in the police department, particularly as SP Operation in Srinagar/Baramulla and as SSP Jammu/Kathua/Doda etc for which he has been awarded Police Medal for Gallantry/ Sher-e-Kashmir Medal for Gallantry. All the officers and guests present in the function wished the retiring officer a happy and prosperous retired life. Warm wished were also given to SI Abdul Rashid, SI Darshan Lal and Senior Grade Constable Buta Ram, who also retired today after attaining the age of superannuation.
Staff and officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Sunil Kumar Koul, Deputy Director Agriculture (Trainings), Jammu who retired today after rendering 36 years of service in the Department. Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs) Jammu, Bulesh Kumar Zutshi, AK Arora, Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) and KK Sharma, Agriculture Economist Jammu, while speaking on the occasion, wished the retiring officer a very happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.

Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union accorded a warm send off to Om Parkash Sharma (Assistant Registrar), Suresh Bamba (Senior PA to the Director, Business School) and Om Parkash (Senior PA to the Head, Department of Enviro-nmental Sciences), who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation. President of the Union, Pawan Singh Bhau and other office bearers wished for healthy and prosperous post-retirement life of the retiring officers.
The staff and officers of PGMTD BSNL Jammu organized a farewell function to bid adieu to Vipan Gupta, Office Superintendent, Planning Section, PGMTD BSNL Jammu, who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation. The officers of the department appreciated 41 years of service rendered by the retiring officers in the department and wished for his good health and happy retired life.
A simple but impressive fare well function was organized by District Information Centre Ramban on the the retirement of Om Parkash, Field Publicity Assistant (FPA) of TIC Gool. The entire staff and media persons attended the function. They lauded the services of Om Parkash and wished him a successful and healthy post retirement life.
Kathua Police gave warm farewell to four retiring police officers and officials namely SI Gangu Ram, ASI Bhagwan Dass, ASI Sansar Chand and SGCT Prithipal Singh. The send off function was chaired by Shridhar Patil, SSP Kathua, who along with other officers, wished the retiring officer healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
ASI Jasbir Singh, who retired today from SPS PTS Kathua after attaining the age of superannuation, was given a warm send off by the officers and staff of SPS PTS Kathua in a simple function organized in the School premises. SSP Tejinder Singh, Vice-Prinicpal, SPS PTS Kathua, and other officers and staff of the School lauded the services of the retiring officer and wished him healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
