Sarpanch presents cheque of Rs 50000 to poor family

Sarpanch presenting a cheque of Rs 50000 to a poor family in Dhamore, Samba on Wednesday.

SAMBA, May 1: Shelpa Dubey, Sarpanch of Damore Panchayat of Vijaypur area, today presented a cheque of Rs 50000 for the construction of concrete roof to a poor person of the Panchayat Ravi Singh and assured that of more financial help will be given if needed so that poor fellow will be able to get roofed house to get relief during the heavy rain.
On this occasion, Ajay Mathur the maternal uncle of Sarpanch, Shelpa Dubey accompanied her. Mathur is a NRI and currently residing in Austria. He has contributed to the social service, on the request of the Sarpanch to help the poor family. He declared that whatever help would be made for the poor and destitute people in her Panchayat will be given. Besides, facilities will be provided to children.
For this Sarpanch Shelpa Dubey expressed her gratitude to NRI and expressed hope for further help by him also.
Beneficiary Ravi Singh, who is an unemployed also complimented Sarpanch, Shelpa Dubey and NRI Ajay Mathur.
On the occasion, panches Ajeet Singh, head of RS Pura Market Association, Sachin Chopra, Kamal Gupta, social worker, Chander Shekhar, etc. were also present.
