People want transformation: Raj Babbar

PRAYAGRAJ, May 1:
Uttar Pradesh Congress president Raj Babbar on Wednesday said that people are wanting a transformation to change the fate of the nation.
Addressing an electoral rally in support of Congress candidate from Phulpur parliamentary seat Pankaj Niranjan Patel at the Mansoor Ali Park, Mr Babbar said that the people of the country were tired of the activities of the party in power and now wants a transformation to change the fate of the nation.
Slamming the state and the Union government, the UP Congress president urged the people to come together and vote against those spreading hatred in society.
BJP is creating an environment of Communalism by doing politics for acquiring power and is trying to erase the relationships of mutual love and cordiality in the nation.
The actor-turned-politician appealed the people to vote against the hatred that had spread in the country and to vote in favour of the Congress party on May 12.
Mr Babbar said that the Union government had been unsuccessful at controlling inflation. It has turned a blind eye towards the rising prices of petrol, diesel and home gas cylinders. The law and order situation in the state is in a bad shape and the state government does not have any control on the same. The criminals are roaming freely in the mockery of law while the girl child and women are not safe in the state.
As far as development is concerned, the BJP is misleading the people of the country. Development is nowhere visible on the ground and corruption is being promoted in the garb of development. In the year 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to give new dimensions to development and ending corruption but five years are about to get completed, yet the promises haven’t been kept. He has deceived the people of the country, the Congress leader alleged. (PTI)
Voicing his concerns, Mr Babbar said that the youth of the country was getting unemployed. The PM had promised to provide employment to the youth but he couldn’t even fulfill that. Mr Modi is advising the unemployed people to sell ‘pakoras’ (fritters). Every promise made to the people has turned out to be a ‘jumla.’
