JAMMU, May 5: The partially decomposed body of an unknown woman was recovered today from the jurisdiction of police post Nehru Market.
According to a police official, some locals today spotted a partially decomposed female dead body in bushes near 4th Tawi Bridge. He said on getting information from the locals, a police team reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College Jammu for identification/postmortem.
“In this connection, inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated at police station Gandhi Nagar,” the official added.
