November 1, 2018: Militants gunned down prominent BJP leader, Anil Parihar and his brother, Ajit Parihar in the heart of Kishtwar town. They had been provided security cover but the PSOs were not with them at the time of terror attack.
March 14, 2019: Militants shot at and seriously injured political worker, Mohammad Ismail Wani affiliated with National Conference in Anantnag district.
· March 30, 2019: Militants shot dead social activist Arjumand Majid Bhat in Baramulla district.
· April 9, 2019: Militants gunned down prominent RSS functionary, Chanderkant Sharma and his PSO Rajinder Kumar inside the District Hospital Kishtwar. Though being senior RSS leader, Sharma had been given only one PSO.
· May 4, 2019: Militants killed BJP leader Gull Mohammad Mir inside his residence at Nowgam, Verinag in Anantnag district.
