KISHTWAR, May 6: District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, convened a meeting with district officers and Executive Engineers to review status of various development projects being executed in the district including languishing projects.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Kishtwar, Mohammad Hanief Malik, ACR, Dr. Amir Hussain, Executive Engineers PMGSY Marwah/ Chatroo/ Kishtwar and PWD Kishtwar/ Chatroo, DGM JKPCC besides other concerned officers.
A threadbare discussion was held on various issues like physical status of projects, verification, scheme wise status, financial implications, bottlenecks, if any.
It was apprised in the meeting that several roads were held up for execution due to land compensation issues, wherein DDC directed Collector Land Acquisition (ACR) Kishtwar to get the matter resolved on top priority.
DDC appointed ADDC Kishtwar as Nodal Officer for languishing projects who shall keep close vigil on all departments over the pace of works and resolve the bottlenecks, if any.
