JAMMU, May 6: Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Manzgam Prabandhak Committee in its meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Kuldeep Raina while discussing the annual arrangements of Zesht Ashtami celebrations at the Shrine falling on June 10 said the Committee has approached to DC Kulgam for making all arrangements for the annual mela at Shrine as per past practice.
The meeting was also informed that the Executive Engineer, PHE Kulgam has also been requested to restore the Hakwas water connection to the shrine which is non functional for last six months.
Ravi Raina, Ravinder Raina and Ashok Raina have been asked to make all other arrangements for the pilgrims visiting the holy shrine on the day. The meeting has also decided to hold the annual elections of the Committee on the Ashtami day itself at the holy shrine.
The annual function ill be preceded by performance of Pooja of holy Sandal tree on June 9 as per tradition.
The meeting among others was attended by Moti Lal Raina , V S Lahori, vice president, Kanya Lal Raina, Avtar Krishan Raina Ashok Raina and Sanjay Raina.
