KISHTWAR, May 7: BJP organized a massive protest against selective killings of the people belonging to minority community in the district.
Former Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma and district BJP President Pardeep Parihar who were also present during the protest expressed their deep anguish over non-seriousness of police and district administration in arresting the culprits behind the killings of RSS leader and Parihar brothers.

Sunil Kumar Sharma demanded action against the culprits involved in killings of RSS leader Chandarkant Sharma and Parihar brothers and also demanded to ensure the security of minorities at the earliest.
Sharma while addressing the public said that the present administration has been dealing the matter lightly and is providing free hand to the anti social and anti national elements to target a selective community from the area which is dreadful and unfortunate.
“The protest registered today was a start of public revolution and anger which will continue in near future till the bereaved families are met to justice”, he said, adding that since 90’s they are on suffering end and have been fighting against the divisive forces to stop ethnic cleansing of minorities from the area.
“We demand Governor’ Administration to took stock of the situation at the earliest and immediately post competent officers in the district while replacing the present one who have been continuously creating tense situation in the area”, he added.
He added that common voices of the area are never going to spare this situation and is ready to bare any kind of loss for once for all solution of this perpetrated situation in the district Kishtwar.
He also urged upon for immediate restoration of security cover of prominent leaders belonging to minority.
