REASI, May 8: A teacher in Government Middle School Band, under Chasana Zone has been placed under suspension after some students of the school were found carrying Mid-Day Meal ration sacks on their shoulders.

Taking cognizance of the video footage of the students carrying Mid-Day Meal ration, which had gone viral on social media, ZEO Chasana ordered suspension of teacher Abdul Gafoor of the said school.
According to CEO Reasi, Nirmal Choudhary, no funds are provided by the Government for transportation of the Mid Day Meal ration even as the matter is being investigated while the teacher concerned has been placed under suspension.
