Micky campaigns for Congress candidate at Sirsa

JAMMU, May 8: Arvinder Singh “Micky”, senior Congress leader and Ex-Dy Chairman of J&K Legislative Council, who has been appointed as Congress Observer for the State of Haryana, today visited Parliamentary Constituency of Susa, where Dr Ashok Tanwar is contesting as Congress candidate.
Campaigning for Dr Ashok Tanwar, Mr Micky addressed a number of public meetings In different areas of Sirsa, mostly in rural areas where large number of locals are Punjabi speaking people. Mr. Micky was accompanied by famous Punjab actress and singer Satinder Bitti who also addressed these meetings.
While addressing the gathering, Mr Micky drew attention towards increasing unemployment, poor condition of farmers, sufferings of business class and general grievances of commoners. He alleged that BJP Govt has failed on all fronts. Nearly 50000 Industrial Units got shut down due to wrong policies of the Government with the result that tens of thousands of workers have been rendered jobless, he alleged and also accused BJP of attempting to politicize Indian Army.
A road show was also held in the town of Sirsa where Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu was the main attraction and he addressed a huge rally in Bhagat Singh Chowk.
