UDHAMPUR, May 10: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr Gurvinderjeet Singh, today convened a meeting of officers to finalize arrangements for smooth conduct of 3 day annual Moungri Mela, commencing from 15th May at Sar Dabber in Tehsil Moungri of the district.
Senior officers of various departments besides representatives of Management Committee of Lord Shiv-Parvati Cave Shrine Moungri were present in the meeting.
Threadbare discussion was held on various arrangements like maintenance of road, security, sanitation, health care, transport, water and power supply, rates of edibles, ration supply, cultural programme, sports activities and related events.
During the mela, different Government departments will put up their departmental stalls for general awareness besides the Youth Services and Sports Department will organize rural sports competitions.
