JAMMU: One person was killed and as many injured when a truck fell into a deep gorge near Chanderkote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district, police said.
According to a police official, the truck was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar.
The incident occurred as the driver lost its control and plunged into the gorge, the office said.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shafi while Umer Ahmed of Qazigund Kashmir sustained injuries, he added.
