RAJOURI, May 12: District president of Rajouri unit of Rehab e Taleem Teachers Forum, Aftab Tantray has urged Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and Chief Education Officer Rajouri to ensure detachment of all teachers attached in offices of Zonal Education Officers.
In a statement, he said that despite dire shortage of teachers in the schools, blue eyed and influential Teachers were still attached or deployed in offices of ZEOs and preferring to do job of a clerk or a `mediator’.
Despite numerous orders from higher authorities, still these teachers are working in the offices and they don’t care for the poor students, he said and lauded ZEO Manjakote for relieving all the teachers working in the offices.
The Forum leader also urged the Governor Satya Pal Malik , Advisor Khursheed Ahmed Ganie and Director School Education Jammu not to allow any kind of attachment / deputation of Teachers in ZEO & CEO offices as students suffer badly because of this.
