UDHAMPUR, May 12: Sudden fire engulfed a tractor and wheat produce at village Ptyari near Tikri thus causing loss worth lakhs of rupees.
Around 24 quintals of wheat in the land of Jagannath, son of Sansar Chand was reduced to ashes while tractor number JK0BC-5507, owned by Swaran Singh son of Hari Singh also got fully damaged in the fire incident.
The mishap took place around 3.30 pm. Before the Fire Brigade could reach the spot and douse the flames, tractor was completely damaged while wheat crop had reduced to ashes. The fire flames were spotted by some locals who raised alarm and informed to Fire Station Udhampur.
