JAMMU, May 18: Hakhoo Street Animals Foundation Trust organized an awareness programme `Pledge a Water Bowl Today’, at Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar.
During the programme, free clay bowls were distributed by animal lovers. This programe was a tribute to Prof Shailender Singh Jamwal of Jammu University, who untimely passed away a few days back, for his selfless love towards animals and birds.
The motto of this awareness programme was to spread the slogan `Human all you need to do is just place a water bowl or a pot containing clean water and help quenching the thirst of animals and birds on street and at the roof top’.
Hakhoo Street Animals Foundation, which has been s working thoroughly for the animals on street since year 1993, appealed everyone to help animals on street by feeding and adopting them.
