SAMBA, May 23: Geology and Mining Department seized four vehicles involved in illegal mining from Balole Nallah near National Highway in Bari Brahmana area of the district.
According to the report, a team of Geology and Mining Department led by District Mining Officer Vishal Dogra and SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Darshan Singh made a surprise visit in Balole Nallah and found four vehicles including two JCB and two tippers involved in illegal mining.
DMO Samba immediately seized the vehicles for violating the norms.
