JWCCL opens 32nd branch

JAMMU, May 9: Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Limited (JWCCL) opened its 32nd branch at Paloura near here today.
Additional Registrar Cooperatives, Sheela Bhagat was the Chief Guest while the function was presided over by Kailash Verma, chairperson.
The Chief Guest while appreciating the efforts of Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Limited asked the women, its members and employees to work sincerely for the benefit of the women.
Welcoming the Chief Guest, Kailash Verma, chairperson, Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Limited, apprised her about the functioning of the organization and said that an attempt is being made to empower the women and added that the Jammu Women Credit Cooperatives has included about 12000 women especially from rural areas in its movement as members.
However she cautioned the women members as well as employees to refrain from any nefarious practice which could hamper the image of the organization. She appreciated the efforts of those women employees who are doing yeoman service for the upliftment of Credit Cooperatives so that it could be included in the RBI list.
