SRINAGAR: The National Conference (NC) president and newly elected MP from Srinagar constituency, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Saturday said the party members will fight in and outside the Parliament to defend the special status of the State.
Addressing people who had come to greet him for his victory on Saturday at his residence, the former Chief Minister Dr Abdullah said that the election results in Srinagar reflect the mood of the people, who notwithstanding various vulnerabilities came out and voted for our party.
“I along with my other colleagues Muhammad Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi shall work untiringly both inside and outside parliament for safeguarding Art 370, Art 35-A,” he added. (AGENCIES)
