UDHAMPUR, Feb 24: All J&K Ramdassia Conference today celebrated 636th Birth Anniversary of Guru Ravi Dass with the inmates of Bal Ashram, Udhampur.
The function was held under the presidentship of Advocate Sanjeet Kumar Baboria, president of the Organisation.
Additional SP of Police, Mr Benamtosh was the chief guest on the occasion, who along with others paid rich tributes to Guru Ravi Dass. Various speakers highlighted the preachings of Guru Ravi Dass.
Meanwhile, Guru Ravi Dass Sabha of the District organized a Shoba Yatra to commemorate the 636th Birth Anniversary of the great Saint.
The Shoba Yatra began from Guru Ravi Dass Temple, MH Chowk, and passed through all the main bazaars of the Udhampur Town via TCP Domail.
Satsang was also performed by the devotees including women folk. President of the Sabha disclosed that main celebration of the Parkash Utsav will be held on Monday at the premises of Guru Ravi Dass Temple, MH Chowk.
