JAMMU, Feb 24: A two day State level Gojri Literary and Cultural Meet titled – Gojri Adbi Te Saqafti Ekhath- is being organized at Jammu on February 26.
Organized by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages the maiden event will be held to promote and disseminate various shades of cultural heritage of Gujjars and Bakerwals in a big way.
Giving details Dr Javaid Rahi stated that around one hundred writers, poets and intellectuals are taking part in this literary extravaganza. Prominent writers who are expected to be the part of this event included Ch Iqbal Azeem, Dr Rafiq Anjum, Ch Gulzar Ahmed Tartoosi, Fazal Hussain Mushtaq. Prof M K Waqar, Ch M Amin Qammar, Ch Naseem Poonch, Hassan Parwaz Ch Karam Din Chopra, Sakinder Hayat Tariq, Rafiq Soz, Lal Hussain Parwaz, Khadam Qammar, Babu Noor Mohammad Noor and Ch Lal Hussain Gohar.
