JAMMU, Feb 24: Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha (J&K), Machail Yatra Management in a general body meeting held here today reviewed arrangements for the grand annual day (Sthapna Divas) religious function of Chandi Mata on March 1, 2013 at Maha Lakshmi Mandir, Pacca Danga here.
In the meeting of the members held today under the chairmanship of Dr D S Jamwal, the committee members reviewed and finalized the arrangements for the religious function. They said the function will be celebrated with great religious fervor and enthusiasm by the devotees from all over the region including Doda, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar at Jammu. The function will commence at 8 am with Havan and special Pooja, followed by Bhandara between 12 noon and 3 pm. ‘Akhand Jyoti’ will be lit early in the morning which will remain illuminated throughout the function. After 3 pm Chandi Mata `Satsang’ will commence which will be continued till 8 pm.
