UDHAMPUR, Feb 23: General secretary, Youth Wing of Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front, Sunny Mahajan, today expressed his grave concern over the deteriorating sanitation facilities in the Udhampur town in view of ongoing ‘Kaam Choro’ strike of Municipal Council of the town.
Addressing a meeting of party workers, Mahajan lashed on District Administration for their irresponsible attitude over the grave situation, adding that epidemic and viral diseases can spread due to the insanitary conditions prevailed in the town. The town has become hell due to the solid waste spreading in the streets, city roads and drains, he added.
He appealed the Government to accept the genuine demands of Safai Karamcharis to get rid of the insanitation, as their demands were earlier accepted by the concerned authorities.
