JAMMU, May 25: The dead body of an unknown old man was recovered today from a park in Trikuta Nagar area on city outskirts.
“The deceased is about 70 years old and appears to be a beggar,” a police official said, adding body was found from Railway Park in Trikuta Nagar area. He said the body has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification or postmortem.
The official said inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated in this connection at police station Trikuta Nagar.
