AJMER (RAJASTHAN), Feb 25: Rajsthan Gujjar Maha Sabha has extended its support to Bhartiya Gujjar Maha Sabha Jammu & Kashmir, in its struggle for rights and upliftment of Gujjars in J&K State. Speaking during a convention of Gujjars at Pushkar in Ajmer, leaders of Rajsthan Gujjar Maha Sabha said that Gujjar community of Rajsthan would stand by Bhartiya Gujjar Maha Sabha in its ongoing struggle for the upliftment of down trodden Gujjar Community of J&K. They unanimously passed a resolution extending whole hearted and unconditional support to Bhartiya Gujjar Maha Sabha J&K so that its struggle could be brought to a logical end.
The leaders expressed full faith and confidence in the leadership of Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha State president Eshfaq-Ur-Rehman Poswal.
They said that during the agitation launched by Gujjars of Rajsthan, Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha under the leadership of State president Eshfaq-Ur-Rehman Poswal stood by them. Rajsthan Gujjar Community is indebted to Gujjars of Jammu and Kashmir and as such they would stand by them in all odds, they added.
Expressing their concern over plight of Gujjar of J&K, they slammed the State Government for not benefiting the community under several welfare schemes.
Earlier speaking during the convention, Eshfaq-Ur-Rehman Poswal said that Gujjars of J&K were passing through worst times as on one hand they were bearing the brunt of militancy while on the other hand the community was being suppressed by political leadership of the State.
