KATHUA, Feb 25: Spiritual book as well as Bhajan CD of Swami Ram Swaroop ji Yogacharya were released in a function also attended among others by Parshotam Sharma, former Law Secretary and Thakur Ranjit Singh Jasrotia in the Yajna organized on the eve of Purnima at Dayalachak today.
Thousands of devotees of Swami Ji attended the function in which the book, “Vedic punishment for criminals- women offenders” along with its Hindi translation was released. The book has comprehensive detail of Vedic Mantras which convey punishment to be meted out to someone who denigrates the modesty of a woman.
The Bhajan CD has been produced by music company T-Series and contains 15 Bhajans, all sung by Swami Ji.
As a prelude to book and CD release a Yajna was performed amidst chanting of Ved Mantras. Swami Ji in his sermon showed a great concern about man laying great stress on materialistic and mundane values rather than the Vedas the store-house of knowledge.
Swami Ji has dedicated his entire life towards spreading the message of Vedas and God to humanity.
