SAMBA, June 2: Burglars intruded into a mobile shop at Jammu-Pathankot National Highway in Main Chowk of Samba late last night and decamped with mobile sets and other electronic goods worth lakhs of rupees.
Dinesh Kumar, son of Naresh Chander resident of Khehli Mandi Samba and proprietor of Dinesh Electronic and Mobile Shop which is situated at Jammu –Pathankot National Highway near Main Chowk Samba this morning, made a complaint at Samba Police Station, Samba stating that during the intervening night some unknown burglars have broken the wall of his shop from back side and decamped with mobile phones and other material worth Rs four to five lac. The police registered the FIR in this connection and started investigation. Later the SHO Samba, Shiv Dev Singh visited the spot and took stock of the situation and called the team of the experts for investigation so that the whereabouts of the thieves could know.
Dinesh Kumar said that when this morning he opened the shop he was shocked to see that the back side wall of his shop was broken and the mobile phones and other material was missing.
He said in last two years this is the fifth theft which took place in the shop but no one was arrested so far.
