JAMMU, June 3: In order to know about the basic amenities provided to the inhabitants of Jammu West Assembly segment, former MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma visited Gole and Garden Avenue areas of Ward 31 and interacted with the inhabitants.
He was accompanied by District President Ayodhya Gupta, Mandal Vice President Deepak Kumar and hundreds of inhabitants.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful visit was conducted in both areas of the ward. “During the visit, the inhabitants raised some basic problems including insanitation and upgradation of some lanes and drains in the localities for which concerned officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation JMC) were informed to take up the works in the areas as soon as possible in order to avoid public distress”, he said.
He also stated that locals have also informed about the frequent power cuts in the area for which he immediately called Executive Engineer and asked him to check the problem of power cuts on priority so that people are provided with major relief in scorching summers.
Ayodhya Gupta stated that all 26 wards of Jammu West are equipped with best infra and every basic amenity will be provided to the inhabitants at their doorsteps.
Dr Yudhishtir Gupta, Sushant Gupta, Sudesh Suri, Sukesh Gupta, Dev Rattan Gupta, DP Gupta, Joginder Gupta, TR Shariya, Bharat Bhushan, Bablu Chand, Jang Kumar, Makhan Lal, Ashok Kumar, Roshan Lal and several others were also present.
