JAMMU, June 3: OBC Department of PCC is apprehensive of bogus OBC survey in J&K and has said that same shall not be tolerated and a hunger strike shall be started in protest against it.
In a handout Suresh Kumar Dogra, Chairman OBC Department of PCC has alleged that OBC people are already deprived of their legal and constitutional rights.
He said that the Government should conduct fair survey of OBC people to implementation Mandal Commission report.
He also said, after many organisations approached the Principal Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department he directed Rural Development Department to conduct detailed survey of OBCs on economic and caste basis with reference to the order of Supreme Court.
“But till date no survey has been conducted while the Government is claiming that the survey is continuous in process,” he maintained adding that no door to door information has been collected by the Tehsildars and OBC certificate issuing authority.
