REASI, June 7: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib today chaired a meeting to discuss the arrangements in view of upcoming Kounsar Nag Yatra.
The DC discussed with the members of Kounsar Nag Yatra Committee and asked them about the needs indispensable to the yatra. She also directed respective department to repair the roads leading to the yatra for facilitating smooth passage of pilgrims.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma was also present in the meeting. He passed directions to the Chief Medical Officer regarding medical provisions during the yatra. It was announced that SDM Mahore will act as Overall Incharge of the yatra and Tehsildar Chassana will be the Yatra Officer.
In addition to this, provisions regarding temporary toilets, registration, publicity of the yatra, security etc were also reviewed at the meeting.
Among others, SDM Dharmari, Sushil Kesar; Tehsildar Reasi, Mumtaz Mirza; Tehsildar HQ, Kunal Sharma and various district officers were also present in the meeting.
