JAMMU, June 7: In a simple function here today song of Hindi film ‘Sahibba’ was released in the presence of legends from the field of art, culture and languages.
Prof B.S Bali was the chief guest on this occasion while Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary JKAACL was the guest of honour and M.L Sharma (Chairman Regional Centre of Art and Film), was the special guest.
Apart from this many artists from Jammu and outside were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. B.S Bali congratulated the Director of the movie Neelam Kumar as well as Surinder Manhas, Music Director of the movie for the release of the song.
Dr. Amn while addressing the gathering lauded the team of local actors and actresses who are playing roles in the movie.
Earlier welcoming the guests, Yash Pal Yash gave a brief of the film and the songs being prepared musically by Surinder Manhas.
He informed that the local artists who are acting in the film are Vinay, Tarun Sharma, Rashmita, Komal, Rajinder Samyal, Shivdev Singh Vicky, Vishal, Shishu Paul and Sheetal Manhas.
He said that the film will be shot in and around Jammu and most of the shooting shall be at Dudu Basantgarh in Udhampur.
