Kishtwar facing water crisis

KISHTWAR, June 7: Expressing grave concern over the water crisis being faced by the people of Kishtwar town and adjoining villages, the Congress leader and member Civil Society, Kishtwar, Shamsher Singh Bhandari has urged the PHE authorities to take immediate steps to settle the problem.
He said despite repeated pleas the authorities have failed to improve the water supply for the town and rural belt of Kishtwar and demanded that work on much talked about Naigarh Water Supply scheme be intensified so that it is completed without further delay.
Bhandari also demanded filling up of the posts of Pathologists, Dermatologists and ENT doctors in District Hospital Kishtwar as patients in absence of these posts of specialists in the Hospital were facing many hardships.
