BJP holds meeting to discuss performance in just concluded poll

JAMMU, June 7: BJP held a Samiksha meeting here, today to review the party’s performance in just concluded Lok Sabha elections.
The meeting discussed the performance of the party Assembly segment wise in Jammu, Udhampur and Ladakh Parliamentary constituencies. It, while expressing satisfaction over its performance in majority of Assembly segments in Jammu and Ladakh regions however stressed on working with much zeal and dedication by party men in those areas where it’s performance remained poor so that party can improve its vote tally in these Assembly segments in coming Assembly elections, a party spokesman said.
He said likewise the performance of the party in all three Lok Sabha Constituencies in Kashmir was also reviewed and it was suggested by one and that all the more work needs to be cone in Valley too to improve its vote percentage there also. The reasons why the BJP could not make a remarkable impact in Valley in just concluded elections were also discussed, spokesman added.
He said party is holding the State Executive Meeting at Purmandal Morh on June 16 in which the future strategy and agenda will be discussed.
Today’s meeting was chaired by BJP State president, Ravinder Raina and among others it was attended by all office bearers from all three regions of the State, three MPs and Rajya Sabha member, Shamsher Singh Manhas.
The RSS Prant Karivah, Parshotam Didichi was special invitee in the meeting.
