Daily wager’s appeal to MoS PMO

JAMMU, June 8: A daily wager of the Power Development Department (PDD), who received electric shock in 2017 and his both arms were amputated, has appealed to MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh for his appointment as regular employee in the department on humanitarian ground.
A daily wager posted at Receiving Station Tanda, Tehsil Akhnoor namely Joginder Pal, son of Ram Dass, a resident of Tanda, tehsil Akhnoor was discharging his duties, when he received electric shock and got seriously injured in the month of January, 2017.
The injured daily wager was shifted to DMC Hospital at Ludhiana, where doctors saved his life, but his both arms shoulders were amputated. This unfateful accident left him 100 per cent disable for his whole life.
Since January 2017 to till date, the department has neither paid his wages nor offered any other assistance of his family of 6-members.
In light of 100 per cent disability, the labourer has appealed to MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh to direct the concerned authorities for appointing him as a regular employee in the department on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, so that he can take care of his family to meet their daily needs.
